The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Training Center will present a Deputy/Officer Update Course. The tuition for the course is FREE and includes all handout materials and refreshments. The course will begin at the Academy at 7:00 am and end at 2:00 pm. This course is designed to provide 6 hours of C.E.Us

About the Event
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Training Center will present a Deputy/Officer Update Course. The tuition for the course is FREE and includes all handout materials and refreshments. The course will begin at the Academy at 7:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.
This course is designed to provide 6 hours of C.E.U.s Deputies / Officers will also be given an opportunity to shoot their annual firearms re-qualification course as mandated by APOSTC.
Transnational Gangs will be covered during this update. Some of the topics include:
· Understanding the Threat
· MS-13
· 18th Street Gang
