About the Event
Law Enforcement Agencies are constantly being challenged to offer a wide range of training and development for law enforcement officers. In order to provide this training, agencies must develop trainers who are not only experts in their fields but who also have mastered the art of sharing this information with others. In order to be a successful instructor, you must possess more skills than just the knowledge and experience of a topic.
This seminar is for the trainer to learn what is involved in developing and presenting a class. The class will include:
Assessing the need for training/topic
How to research lesson guides/plans
How to write lesson guides/plans
How to prepare effective presentations
