Online Classes - Course may be completed at your leisure. The interactive Remind Training was developed to provide law enforcement officers with a new perspective on how to handle a variety of situations with confidence - focused on behavioral health, substance abuse, communication and de-escalation.
Course Description
This course consists of three sections that cover the following topics:
- Code of Conduct and Patient Rights
- Patient Safety
- Standardized Codes
There will be a short quiz after each section. Once you have successfully completed all three sections, you will receive a certificate of completion.
Estimated Completion Time: 20 minutes
The training was created by the School of Social Work and the Center for Advanced Public Safety at the University of Alabama.
