About the Event
This course has been designed for law enforcement officers who have an interest in working with a Narcotic Unit. The course includes a discussion of tactical, medical, and technical equipment needed as well as discussions of types of targets (low, mid, supplier, high risk, etc.) and techniques of dealing with each level. The class will also cover establishing confidential informants, the types and issues with CI's. Other classes include controlled purchase, raid planning, dynamic entries, assignment responsibilities, and vehicle takedowns. This course will include multiple scenario-based training exercises - a lot of hands-on training.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: LONG GUN, RAID KIT, AND HELMET. If you do not have the equipment available, we will have some you can use.
The cost of the course is $20.00.
