Vehicle Control Tactics is an intensive 3 day course designed to provide law enforcement officers with the TTP’s to conduct proven and effective vehicle pins to prevent vehicle pursuits as well as post-PIT vehicle control in order to contain the vehicle. This course covers both overt and covert vehicle tactics that can equip an agency from the patrol level through undercover units with the skills and abilities to prevent vehicle pursuits, decrease liability, and reduce the danger posed to the public.
All students who attend the Vehicle Control Tactics course will receive a complete Vehicle Pursuit/Apprehension Policy (CALEA approved) which covers all aspect of vehicle pursuits and apprehensions. Students will also receive associated SOP for both of the Vehicle Control Tactics; Tactical Park and Diversionary Traffic Stops.
